Attorney at Law Has a Hidden Agent Carter Connection

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law The Marvel Cinematic Universe is taking a new direction, with some fun and unexpected connections to Marvel Comics canon. This included a wide range of references to She-Hulk’s own legends, from She-Hulk From the 1980s to the most contemporary works of today. One piece of She-Hulk lore that’s already referenced in the series – and is expected to play a bigger role in future episodes – has already been dropped in the MCU before. GLK&H, the law firm that Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) faces in court in episode one, is actually mentioned in the second-ever episode of Agent Carter. Dan Sloot, who wrote the file Strong woman Running where GLK&H first appeared, it recently took to Twitter to indicate the connection.

GLK&H stands for Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg, and Holliway, and three of the four are important names for parts of the Marvel lore. Goodman is a reference to original Marvel publisher Martin Goodman; Lieber is a reference to Stan Lee’s last name, née Lieber; The Kurtzberg is a reference to Jack Kirby, née Kurtzberg. In the comics, Goodman, Lieber, and Kurtzberg are not actually shown, with Jen only dealing directly with Holden Holliway.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complex life of a single 30-year-old lawyer who happens to be a powerful green hulk at 6 feet 7 inches tall. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Tim Roth as Abomination, Charlie Cox as Daredevil, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki Ramos, Josh Segara as Augustus “Pug” Pugliese, John Bass as Todd, and Renée Elise Goldsberry as Mallory Book. The executive producers are Kevin Feige, Luis de Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Cuero, and Jessica Jau. The co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.
